Worms that are underwater take damage every turn, but can use new utilities like the plug hole to drain the liquid. Dynamic water has also been introduced to battlefields, letting players do things like blasting a hole in a pocket of water to send it cascading into the map, hopefully washing away some enemy worms in the process. Greater fragility might have made these objects more fun. It’s also frustrating that, say, a tin of lighter fluid or a glass flask can absorb a direct hit from a bazooka. Repositioning them is generally more trouble than it’s worth, however, while damage they’ve taken isn’t as clearly communicated as it could be. These can be moved around with certain abilities (such as telekinesis) and after taking enough damage will either explode or release noxious gas/water, or both. First up, battlefields now feature physics objects, like zippo lighters, glass flasks etc. So what does Revolution bring to the table? A fair bit, actually. When things go horribly, comically wrong – as they regularly do – the chain of events has to be clear. These battlefields must be readable at a glance they need to be presented cleanly, so that players can focus on how best to use the environment and their remaining cache of weapons and abilities. There’s also a reason that it settled back into 2D after its flirtation with 3D gameplay. In short, there’s a reason Worms has been such an enduring part of the gaming landscape. And yes, you did read that right – ninja ropes. A more evocatively-minded reviewer would no doubt describe a series of gameplay snapshots: worms in jetpacks dropping sticks of dynamite on enemy heads hand grenades setting off chain reactions of explosive barrels which then rain napalm down onto survivors super-weapons destroying huge chunks of the environment rockets arcing across the map near-dead worms teleporting to safety or retreating into the earth worms ninja roping across caverns uzis spraying shotguns blasting old ladies, erm, exploding concrete donkeys… doing massive damage. So that’s the boring, clinical way of putting it. For best results, choose a header image that is longer horizontally and has a high resolution. Insert another image the same way we inserted our logo, by selecting the “ Insert” menu, “ Image“, and then “ Upload from computer“. That’s easy to do as well.Ĭlick back on the Header section of your document by double-clicking on the header area. These handlebars will allow you to resize the image.Ĭlick and drag the lower-right handlebar to resize your image smaller or bigger. A blue border and handlebars will appear around the image. This is to ensure that your logo is crisp and professional-looking!)Ĭlick on the logo image on the page. While you can resize them larger, it would generally be better to start off with a larger logo. (Your logo might also be smaller than what you would like. But don’t worry - you can adjust the size of your logo in the header easily. When you first upload the logo, it might end up a bit on the large size, depending on your image. If you have your logo stored on your Google Drive, you can also search for your logo in your Google Drive by selecting “ Drive“.įor this example, we’ll upload a logo we have on our computer. In the “ Insert” menu, select “ Image“, and then “ Upload from computer“. This will give you quick access to the “ Header” section so you can easily edit the header of all your template’s pages. Adding Your Logoĭouble-click on the top-most section of your document. So be sure to jazz up your headers and including a logo represents who you are and what your business stands for. Use of the iGrade StarFire GNSS antenna in any other manner is neither permitted nor supported and can degrade desired performance of the paired receiver. The StarFire 3000 Receiver must remain mounted to the same implement as the iGrade antenna being utilized. The iGrade antenna is only compatible with StarFire 3000 Receivers and is only intended for use on the implement receiver utilizing iGrade or other earthmoving applications. Implement receivers in horizontal-accuracy-only applications. The iGrade antenna is only necessary for iGrade users demanding the highest possible vertical accuracy for their applications and should not be installed on the following: It is compatible with global positioning system (GPS) offering L1, L2, and L5 satellite signals and Russian satellite constellation (GLONASS) offering G1 and G2 satellite signals, as well as the StarFire network (L-band), making it an excellent enhancement to the StarFire 3000 Receiver. The iGrade antenna resists signal interference, allowing for the rejection of error that can typically be caused by multipath effects. Vertical accuracy can be impacted by signal interference that the StarFire 3000 Receiver is susceptible to, such as multipath. The iGrade StarFire GNSS antenna (iGrade antenna) facilitates enhanced performance of the implement’s StarFire 3000 Receiver when utilized for iGrade that requires maximum vertical precision. The vertical accuracy performance of the StarFire 6000 with internal antenna for iGrade applications is similar to that of the StarFire 3000 with external iGrade antenna. The StarFire 6000 Receiver is not currently compatible with external antennas. The John Deere Application Controller 1100 is required for iGrade activation. IGrade requires the receiver to have an RTK signal level. iGrade does not support WAAS, EGNOS, SF1, SF2, or SF3 signal levels.
Also when you mouse-over the inline roll to see the details of the roll, it'll show red and green highlights for the rolls themselves for crits/fumbles. If it has both (because there was more than one roll), it's in blue. If there's a crit failure, it's highlighted in red. If an inline roll contains a crit success, it will be highlighted with a green box.You will only see the result of the total roll, and you can hover over the result to see the individual dice rolls. They are evaluated completely before any /roll commands, so you can use them as "random variables" in your rolls. For example, you can do a regular chat message, an emote, or a whisper, with an inline roll included. You can use them in any chat message, not just a roll. Inline rolls are just like regular rolls, with the following exceptions: If you want a more compact roll representation, you can take advantage of inline dice rolls. When these comments are applied directly after a die roll they show up as tool-tips on the dice: If you want to include additional comments before the end of the roll (we call them "inline labels"), use square brackets. So for example you can do /roll 1d20 5 \ 5 Roll for Initiative. If you want to include any numbers, parentheses, or , -, *, /, or % in your additional text, you can preface it with a \ to separate the formula from the text and keep the roller from getting confused. It's entirely optional to do this, by the way, but some GMs find it helps keep everything organized a little better. The extra text won't affect your roll in any way, but it's included in the chat log so that others can see what you're rolling for. For example, when rolling for initiative you might enter /roll 1d20 5 Roll for Initiative. You can also include non-formula text in your roll to indicate what that roll is for. (The number sits on an outline of the dice type rolled, and this outline is in the same color as the square of color in the dice-roller's player portrait in the Player Area.) You'll also see the total of all the dice values plus modifiers to the right of the equal sign. Notice that for each group of dice that were rolled, there will be a group of numbers in parentheses, representing the result of each individual dice that was rolled. If you have an attack that does two types of damage, you might do /roll 2d6 5 d8.Īfter the roll is performed, you'll see the results of the roll in the text chat area. Finally, you can also string multiple rolls together. If you hit and you need to roll 3d6 2 damage, you would just type /roll 3d6 2. In Roll20, you would just type /roll d20 5. For example, you might know that to roll an attack roll you need to roll a "D20 plus your attack modifier". In most cases, the formula is the same as the one that's printed in your game's instructions. Just type the /roll command into the text chat box, followed by a formula. It does not store any personal data.Dice can be rolled simply from the Tabletop Toolbar Dice Rolling Interfaceįor more control over how the dice behave, or to automate processes or math, dice can be rolled in chat. So I guess a breech lock lens with no aperture tripping mechanism could be referred to as a Canon R mount though Canon never used this term for anything other than the Canonflex lenses. The lenses with automatic diaphragms were Super-Canomatic R lenses. The 200mm f/3.5 lens which had a semi-automatic diaphragm was labeled as a Canomatic R. The ones with manual diaphragms and preset diaphragms were identified as Canon R lenses. All of the Canonflex lenses were identified as R lenses. I'm not aware of Canon ever using "FE" as a lens type designation.ĭave, you're correct, sort of. A Canon breech lock lens with the original Canonflex automatic diaphragm mechanism is an R mount lens. This 290 lens is much sharper along the periphery than Nikons exotic 8mm f/2.8, which sells for ten times as much. The FD designation means that the lens has the signal pins and levers needed for full-aperture metering and automatic exposure, as well as the FL auto diaphragm mechanism. This 8mm f/3.5 is softer wide-open in the center at f/3.5 than Nikons fisheyes, but by f/5.6, its as sharp or sharper, and hs less lateral color fringes than the exotic Nikon 8mm f/2.8 or Nikon 10.5mm 2.8 G. Representatives from industry giants ES&S and Dominion Voting Systems presented alongside smaller outfits such as Clear Ballot, Hart InterCivic, Smartmatic, KNOWiNK, VotingWorks, Democracy Live and Civix. Representatives from nine companies spoke to the commission after two days of providing tech demos of their various systems. Sharon Hewitt at a meeting of the commission on June 29. “The job of this commission is to talk about the characteristics and the features of different systems that we thought were attractive and appealing to us,” said Republican Louisiana state Sen. To identify its next move, the state convened a Voting System Commission made up of the state’s top election officials, lawmakers, representatives of local government representatives and other experts to study the issue. Several voting technology companies spent recent weeks trying to woo officials in Louisiana, which is the only state in the U.S. This was after Madison County received its grant, making it one of the final jurisdictions in the state to have that opportunity. Kentucky joined at least 11 other states in banning outside funding of election processes in March. Madison County funded the new equipment through a grant from the Center for Tech and Civic Life through a program some critics have called “Zuck bucks” because of the Center’s funding from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Where he was previously spending about 40 cents per ballot, he now spends about 6 cents on each. “Your upfront costs are higher, but the ROI is short,” said Barger.īarger said the machines he purchased were more than $2,500 each, but that the machines cut costs for ballot printing. Madison County has used the machines in some capacity for several years but recently expanded their use. Kenny Barger, the county clerk in Madison County, Ky., oversaw the full rollout of Election Systems & Software (ES&S) ExpressVote machines, a ballot marking device, for the state’s May primaries. Other jurisdictions have begun adopting ballot marking devices (BMDs), which let voters cast their vote using a digital interface before printing their completed ballot on-demand. In addition to facilitating post-election audits, Bride believes the new system will help the county in other ways. Peoria now uses paper ballots and Hart InterCivic’s Verity Scan device, which has voters feed their ballot into a scanner. “That’s easier to do with a paper-based system.” “There is a push to audit more elections,” said Thomas Bride, executive director of the Peoria County Election Commission. In 2018, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine published a consensus report which recommended exclusively using paper ballots or electronic ballot marking devices because of the cybersecurity risks of recording votes directly into electronic memory. In systems with a VVPAT, voters will verify their votes on a printed paper ballot which is kept for election auditing. Cybersecurity experts and researchers have long pointed out that DREs can pose significant risks to election security, particularly those which don’t produce a voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT). |
